Frequently Asked Questions
Will
I see proofs of my article or articles?
No. If the developmental work on an article involved more than
routine editing, however, you will be sent the entry (by email)
in case you want to check it. Please be assured that the volume
editor will review all manuscript in the production phases, during
which the manuscripts will also be professionally proofread against
the submitted manuscripts.
I
did not receive a contract. What should I do?
If you did not receive a contract, please get in touch with us
via the project e-mail box: scandinavianculture@taylorandfrancis.com.
But please remember: if you have ever received a contract from
Routledge that is the only contract you need for this project.
The same terms apply. You do not need a new contract or contracts
for any additional articles you agreed to write after your initial
assignment.
When
will The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Scandinavian Culture
be published?
The projected publication date is May 2007.
When
will authors be paid?
Honoraria are payable upon acceptance by the Volume Editors. Thus
you should allow four months after acceptance before contacting
us about an honorarium that you have not received.
Please note that we need your current postal address on so that
checks and books are sent to your correct address. Please send
any change of address to the project e-mail: scandinavianculture@taylorandfrancis.com
When
will authors receive complimentary copies?
If your compensation states that you are due a complimentary copy,
the order will be placed at about the same time as that for honoraria.
Complimentary copies are sent directly from the warehouse, not
by our own staff, and so we are not able to track a book's routing.
As noted above, we need your current postal address to initiate
shipment.
Are
offprints of articles available?
No, we are not able to provide offprints.
How
should I cite the encyclopedia for a CV, tenure review, or the
like?
